Archaeology meets high tech

Old notes.
New eyes.

The surveyors before us measured this ground with chains and transits, across terrain that's hard going even with modern gear. Their work still holds, and our respect for it is unwavering.

Today we carry GNSS, drones and precision total stations. The tools are new; the fundamentals aren't. We still read the old notes, follow the evidence and dig where it points. The technology helps us focus where it counts.

Archaeology

Digging for stones, pipes and bearing trees set more than a century ago.

History

Original government field notes, old deeds and decades of local survey records.

Math

Least-squares adjustments, proportioning and closures we can defend.

Technology

GNSS, drones, laser scanners and precision total stations, turned into models clients can use.

1870

The original field notes described the ground along a section line. We matched those calls to a LiDAR model of the terrain, narrowed the search, and recovered a section corner no one had seen since 1870.

How we work

Better,
not bigger.

Technology lets a small, senior team cover more ground without adding layers. A seasoned licensed land surveyor runs the field work, then runs the calculations and signs the deliverable. No hand-offs between crew, CAD tech and project manager, and nothing lost in between.

We'd rather grow better than bigger.
