What we do

Services

Six services, from drone and laser scanning to tunnel surveys and original 1800s corners. Pick the one that fits, or request a quote and we will help you choose.

  • Survey drone on an orange landing pad beside an orchard

    Drone & Laser Scanning

Drone LiDAR and photogrammetry, laser scanning, orthophotos and 3D surfaces, all tied to real survey control.

  • Mini survey prism held over anchor bolts on a steel base plate in a block wall

    Precision Layout

Control, grid lines, anchor bolts and embed plates for plants, structures and buildings, with as-built checks before the pour.

  • Precast concrete treatment plant building under construction with a mobile crane, in the Merced River canyon at El Portal

    Deformation Monitoring

Repeat epochs on structures, walls and slopes during construction, compared to tolerance and reported so crews can act the same day.

  • Robotic total station set up on a trail beside a wooden fence and granite boulders

    Tunnel Surveys

Control carried underground, line and grade at the heading, and scans of the excavated profile where GNSS can't follow.

  • Handwritten original government survey field notes dated March 22, 1880

    Boundary & ALTA Surveys

Hard boundary problems, original 1800s government corners, records of survey and ALTA/NSPS surveys on 1,000 to 5,000+ acres. Expert witness work, too.

  • GNSS receiver on the summit of Mammoth Mountain with the Minarets and snowy Sierra peaks behind

    Mountaintop Topographic Surveys & Control

Atop Mammoth Mountain, we mapped the site for a new communication tower and tied it by geodetic control to Mammoth Pool, six hours away by road across the Sierra, so the antennas could be aimed precisely.
